Capital Sweet and Samosa is a must-visit culinary gem located at 62 Overlea Blvd, East York, Ontario. This quaint establishment has quickly earned a reputation for its exceptional samosas and a diverse array of sweets and savory dishes. The samosas, highly praised by customers like Deekshant Wadhwa, capture the essence of authentic Indian flavors — spicy yet balanced, crispy but not oily, making them a delight for any palate. The generous pricing, particularly the unbeatable deal of three vegetarian samosas for one price, is a highlight noted by patrons like Uthman Khawaja, who appreciates the quality over cheaper alternatives. Fans also rave about their fried fish, served fresh and tantalizingly hot. Notably, Vijaylakshmi Jha's nostalgic experience speaks to the emotional connection these dishes foster, especially paired with flavorful chutneys. With an inviting ambiance and friendly service, Capital Sweet and Samosa isn't just a place to eat but a cozy spot to enjoy excellent coffee or tea alongside delicious fare. Whether you're seeking a casual snack or catering for a special gathering, this restaurant promises satisfying meals that leave customers eagerly returning for more.

Their samosa is the closest to the authentic Indian samosa that I've had in Canada. Spicy yet not authentic, crispy yet puffy, not oily and neither expensive. The sweets are great too.

This a go-to place for quality, affordable samosas. The 3 for 1 price can't be beat (veg), especially when the taste is this good. Sure there are a few other places where you can get cheaper samosas, but the quality is definitely not on par. If I were a little closer to this place, I'd definitely be here a lot more often. But alas, I usually reserve my orders for dinners or potlucks. Ps: the fish also comes highly recommended; is made fresh and served right out of the pan!!

Small and sweet place with limited but interesting and tasty snacks and sweets. Samosa & a must try. They are tasty and affordable. Excellent with a cup of coffee or tea.

Loved the samosa, my friend got crazy nostalgic. The chutney was good too! Surely gonna come again for the samosas, no wonder why people just come for the samosa, it got almost sold out within 15 minutes

I drive a fair distance just for their samosas and jalebis! Delicious! MOST importantly...the price is reasonable in this unreal economy!

The best samosas in East York! The best prices: 2 for 1 veggie samosa and have an insane dessert collection! Must visit!

This place is always a go to when buying samosas for my family on the go. They’re halal, affordable, and it gets really busy during Ramadan close to iftar time so make sure you go early! The lines are definitely worth it though, and they have an amazing sweet/spicy sauce.

Listen. Don’t worry about any of these haters. These are the best veggie samosas in Toronto period. Golden brown crispy crust, generous balanced stuffing, perfect size. Warning - very addictive. I have full hallucinatory cravings for the baklava. It’s too good I can’t even describe here sorry. Best baklava I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Pakora is good too. And I kid you not - it is HARD to spend more than 10 here. Thank you to the family that runs this place.
